A highly reputable boutique professional services firm is seeking a Bookkeeper to join its expanding team. This organisation champions a flexible working culture, structured learning and development, and the opportunity to work with an impressive global client base. You will be part of a collaborative client servicing team and the firm prides itself on having a fantastic culture.
Your new role
- As a key point of contact for clients, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing client queries and acting as a primary liaison
- General bookkeeping support including payables, receivables and reconciliations
- Preparing end-of-month reporting
- Preparing monthly and quarterly BAS returns
- Financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting and cashflow reporting
- Payroll processing, superannuation and EOFY obligations
- Supporting client accounting, reporting and compliance needs alongside senior team members
- Experience in a public practice accounting firm (essential)
- Experience in management reporting
- BAS and payroll processing experience
- Proficiency with business clients and exposure across multiple industries
- Strong experience using Xero
- Ability to adopt firm technology and applications
