Your new role
As an Intermediate Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting senior team members and managing your own portfolio of clients across a variety of industries.Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals
- Assisting with BAS/IAS preparation and lodgements
- Supporting senior accountants and managers with advisory work and client engagement
- Handling client queries and building strong, professional relationships
- Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations
- Contributing to process improvements and workflow efficiencies
To be considered for this role, you will demonstrate:
- 2-4 years' experience within a public practice accounting firm
- Progress towards (or completion of) CA or CPA qualification
- Strong technical knowledge of Australian tax and accounting standards
- Experience with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or similar
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
