Senior Operations Analyst – Major Hedge Fund – circa $300k total comp package!

As a senior operations analyst, you will work on BAU tasks with the wider team, but with an additional core focus is on ‘projects’. The firm are expanding into new asset classes / strategies - as a senior member of the team, you will lead projects for the new fund launches, the onboarding of new products + the infrastructure build out for new desks. The hire will have the most senior level exposure / visibility both internally and externally as a project manager. The BAU ‘Operations’ remit is highly analytical, front office facing / focused and technical (work is focused on oversight & analysis as opposed to standard processing tasks) – the nature of the work means that you can learn SQL and python to a good standard in this role.

Progression can be into an operations manager role, however previous moves from the team have also been into treasury, compliance, risk and even into an investment analyst role.

Candidates should have 5-10yrs hedge fund operations / middle office experience. A very strong academic profile is required. Programming skills would be useful.

Operations staff typically earn a $200-350k total comp in this team – as a senior member of the team, we expect a top performer to earn a $300k+ total comp in this role.
