Head of Client Profitability and Client Analytics/Revenue Data Platform
Data is at the core to how business decisions are made and treated as the most valued asset to equip our sales professionals with the information they need to best service clients. The organization is dedicated to develop advanced technology (e.g. AI, Machine Learning, and Big Data), systems and services to make data secure, high quality, rich, fast, and easy to use and access enabling the Markets and ICG organization to leverage its data asset in an effective and timely manner to maximize technology/business development.

We are looking for someone to own two key responsibilities:
  • Head our Client Analytics and Revenue Data Platform and act as one of the key technology contributors to build and manage Market Sales' data and technology assets in the data platform while enabling a wide range of applications to be deployed and operate in the data lake through the acquisition of data across a variety of sources to produce and generate key business insights
  • Head our Client Profitability solution which is part of the data platform and is critical for our Markets, ICG, and Finance organizations to understand client revenues and profitability which are key inputs in business and strategic decisions.

This individual will act as a trusted hands-on technical advisor and strategic thought leader leading a global team in India, Canada, and United States. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with significant changes; developing/implementing strategies and processes that enable the organization to innovate and grow fast. You will have the opportunity to lead, participate, manage, guide, and mentor other people in the global team on architecture, design, direction, strategy, and implementation in a hands-on manner. As a Senior Vice President, you will be responsible for the strategic and technical direction of the Market Sales Data Platform as well as Client Profitability solution offerings, reporting to the Director of Market Sales Technology and will be based in Jersey City, NJ.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide architectural and technical leadership along with vision for the Data Platform and Client Profitability solution. This entails developing and maintaining the architectural roadmap for data products and data services along with ensuring the alignment with the business and enterprise architecture strategies and standards.
  • Able to develop and articulate technical architecture and solutions as well as explain the competitive advantages of various technology alternatives to a broad audience entailing members within and outside the organization with backgrounds of being highly technical leaders to business partners with strong business and data acumen.
  • Build processes and tools to maintain high data availability, quality, and maintainability.
  • Ability to translate business concepts to technical terms.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, other product development groups and software vendors to identify and define solutions for complex business and technical requirements.
  • Engage with business partners to understand their needs and provide suggestions/guidance on appropriate solutions to solve their problems with pros/cons articulated clearly
  • Drive internal proof of concept initiatives. When needed, quickly design and implement a prototype of a system or component with a proper architecture that can be fully built-out once validated.
  • Provide mentorship and help team growth
  • Head our Client Analytics and Revenue Data Platform
    • Provide leadership and guidance on design and management of data for data applications, formulate best practices and organize processes for data management, governance, and evolution.
    • Apply creative thinking/approach to determine technical solutions that further business goals while aligning to the broader Markets/ICG technology strategies, keeping in mind performance, reliability, scalability, usability, security, flexibility, and cost.
  • Head our Client Profitability Solution
    • Create and deliver a client profitability framework and reporting tools to accurately measure revenues, capital, and returns for Institutional and Corporate Clients
    • Develop models and implement methodologies to assign expenses and capital to clients to create accurate
    • Design, execute, and build automated solutions to generate profitability data and make it available through various distribution channels
    • Manage process for generating accurate client reporting on a monthly basis with appropriate checks and balances to reconcile to reported business financials

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline required
  • Master's degree preferred
