An expanding international bank are looking to recruit a Regulatory Liaison professional act as a lead in managing, building, and strengthening a proactive relationship between the Bank and its regulators serving as an effective and trusted liaison for regulatory communications. You will have responsibility for the communications with the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and overseeing the regulatory relationships
Main Responsibilities
- On behalf of the Bank, act as the central point of contact with regulators
- Implementing a tracker of ongoing regulatory engagement and information requests and providing management information based on this tracker
- Take responsibility as the primary contact for information requests from regulators and track and coordinate the Bank's responses to such requests
- Updating and providing regular reporting for senior management and other stakeholders
- Manage and Supervise one direct report at Senior Officer level of the regulatory liaison function and provide strategic leadership
Job Requirements:
- Degree educated and/or Compliance related qualification
- Experience of interacting and communicating with regulatory bodies
- Knowledge of the FCA and PRA rulebooks and regulatory expectations in the UK, including MCOBs, BCOBs, CONC & PRIN
- Strong ability to draft policies, procedures and reports within a Retail banking environment
- Ability to interact and influence at all levels including Board members
