The ICE Internal Audit Group consists of 40+ staff spread across 6 locations (Atlanta, New York, Chicago, Foster City, London and Hyderabad), with 10 staff based in London. The London team is responsible for providing independent, reliable, and timely assurance over the effectiveness of the control environment across 9 entities based in London, Amsterdam, Singapore and Abu Dhabi. These entities are made up of exchanges, clearing houses, a trade repository, and a benchmark administrator.
Manage audit staff and participate in the performance of integrated operational, compliance, financial and SOX audits.
Lead the development and execution of audit programs in accordance with Internal Audit methodologies and International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (IIA).
Draft or review audit reports and lead closing meetings with management to discuss findings and management’s response.
Develop a thorough understanding of the Company’s exchange, clearing and data operations.
Complete audit assignments within established time frames and budgets.
Communicate identified control deficiencies effectively to management.
Maintain effective relationships with key business stakeholders.
Perform independent appraisal of policies and procedures.
Ensure audit projects are documented in accordance with departmental and IIA standards.
Travel to other locations as required for internal audit and training purposes.
Bachelor's degree in a STEM or Business/Finance/Economics disciplines. Master's degree preferred.
Experience in an Internal Audit function within financial services (e.g., bank, clearing house, exchange, consultancy) with focus on risk management and controls framework preferred.
In addition to Internal Audit, experience acquired in 1st or 2nd line, in one or more of the following topics desired: Enterprise Risk framework, treasury and liquidity management, capital adequacy and reporting, Stress & scenario testing, Back-testing, Model Risk management and governance, Counterparty Credit Risk measurement and management, Data quality, Product Control and P&L attribution.
Must demonstrate quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of market infrastructure, benchmarks and associated regulations is a plus.
Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIA, CPA, CFA, FRM)
Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
Ability to execute multiple and multifaceted projects simultaneously.
Must be proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to adapt in a high growth, rapidly evolving industry.
Knowledge of audit management software is a plus.
Ability to travel 10-15%, including international.
