Delivery Specialist, Manager, Cloud Migration, Cloud Engineering, Business Operations, Consulting, London & Regional offices
Can you help our clients create a sense of purpose to accelerate their organisation's cloud adoption journey?
Cloud is firmly on the CIO/CTO agenda, with organisations adopting public cloud faster than ever before. Our established practice is helping clients on their cloud adoption journey by:
•Using our experiences to provide a balanced perspective on what cloud can do for business;
•Describing how to adopt cloud through synergies with in-flight works (whilst avoiding disruption); and
•Providing clients with management and hands-on execution services to move workloads to cloud.
The combination of our industry insights, breadth of professional services (cyber, real-estate, tax, and finance), cloud provider partnerships and technical know-how, make our proposition unique in the market. You'll learn to leverage these multiple domains to help clients make informed decisions.
Cloud technology presents exciting and disruptive opportunities for both our clients and ourselves. We are looking for people to join our team who embrace change and bring us ever greater breadth and depth of expertise. The quality of our technical skills is enhanced through your practical knowledge of implementation and our ability to learn from each other.
At Deloitte, we value difference, with respect at the heart of our inclusive culture. We recognise that our people are juggling demanding careers with commitments and interests outside of work. We are open to discussing with you the different ways in which we are able to support agile working arrangements.
Want to work with the latest technologies, as part of a team helping international organisations transform their core business capabilities? Whether you're working with on-premise systems, Cloud technology, or custom-developed solutions (to name just a few), your expertise will help clients deliver continuous improvement and innovation, from initial design right through to implementation and optimisation. Your role
As a Cloud Migration Delivery Specialist, you will help our clients build a case for change based on the compelling drivers to adopt cloud - from closure of existing data centre facilities, merger & acquisition activity through to providing the agility to support digital transformation.
You will need to:
•Advise on the strategy and approach
•Design the programme
•Identify the scope
•Plan through to successful cloud adoption
•If required, manage the transition to run cloud managed services
•Manage or work in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution
And you will need to achieve all of this at hyper-scale - our clients have thousands of services, made up of tens of thousands of stakeholders developing, running and consuming these services. How will you create a sense of purpose that engages all these people on the cloud adoption journey? Your work, your choice
At Deloitte we believe the best impact is the value we add, not the hours we sit at our desk. We carefully consider agile ways of working, both formal and informal, that allow for the best impact for our people and our clients. Please speak to your recruiter about the working pattern that works best for you.
Location: UK wide.
Work pattern: The role can be worked on a full-time or part-time basis. Your professional experience
We are looking for candidates who are able to demonstrate skills and experience in some of the following:
•Large programme delivery, including agile practices and concepts
•Designing migration programmes including operating model design, strategy, planning and execution
•Implementing scalable cloud migration processes
•Able to articulate the core building blocks that make up an on-premise solution
•Knowledge of cloud services across the major public cloud service providers (Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure)
•Understanding hybrid architecture between on-premise and cloud
•Operating effective hybrid onshore/offshore teams
•Working across the client architecture, engineering, operations and DevOps teams to ensure successful cloud adoption
Additional desirable experience includes:
•Certifications in established cloud technologies (e.g. Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure)
•Familiarity with industry-recognised methodologies (e.g. TOGAF, ITIL)
•Certifications in agile delivery (e.g. ScrumMaster, SAFe) and applying this to cloud migration Your service line: Consulting

Regulation and controls are standard practice in our industry and Deloitte is no exception. These controls provide important legal protection for both you and the firm. We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints. This can mean that you and your "Immediate Family Members" are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm. The recruitment team will provide further detail as you progress through the recruitment process. About Deloitte
