Our client an Asset Manager seeks an analyst to join it's growing Real Estate team based in London
The Company has allocated £200m of evergreen capital from their balance sheet for their Real Estate strategy
The initiative began in April 2018 and have since invested in 10 deals (£100.1m), with a further 3 opportunities (£25.75m) in documentation which they hope to close by mid-November
Key Responsibilities
- Due Diligence/ Deal Origination:
- Assist with the analysis and structuring of potential lending opportunities to include cash flow modelling,
- Property valuations and investment analyses (IRRs, sensitivity tables, etc.).
- Collate and review all of the necessary information in order to accurately present your conclusion to the team.
- Work with the Director to assemble the investment committee reports and supporting documents.
- On-going Loan Management:
- Track loan performance and work closely with our Loan Servicer on the monitoring of payments and verifying loan covenants
- Conduct ongoing quantitative and qualitative analyses to support decision making relating to the management of the loan investments.
Qualifications/Skills:
- 1-2 years real estate finance / structured finance / syndication experience - Ideally with a focus on the UK CRE market
- Strong proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft PowerPoint
- Strong communication skills including writing/composition, oral, and listening skills
- Must possess a good attitude, excellent attention to detail, professionalism, and a sincere interest in real estate finance
