Software Engineer
Description
As a Software Engineer at TriOptima you will be an integral part of a development team that design, build, evolve, and maintain the TriOptima services.
The development teams are highly self-driven doing continuous deployment. We are continuously adjusting our way of working as we find what works for us. We have mob programming teams running most of the time and when appropriate we do pair programming encouraging collaboration and continued learning. We believe that diversity is what makes a good team great, and that diversity of experience and thought create inclusive and successful products. As a global company with colleagues around the world we work in English, even in the Stockholm office where the TriOptima technology department is located.
The office space is modern, spacious and designed for social interactions and our rooftop terrace makes for scenic lunches in the summertime, right in the middle of Stockholm. We will provide you with equipment for remote work and always encourage a healthy work-life balance. We believe our colleagues are fantastic and the most important part of us and our culture. You are involved in many different stages of the product development. Everything from new concepts, features and products - to refining and expanding on existing features and products. Our Software Engineers work closely with the product teams, collaborating with UX/Product Designers, Product Managers, Systems Engineers and Product Writers.
Our services help stabilize the global financial system. Our customers depend on our services to save them money, time, and help them follow regulations.
Technologies used
We build web-based services and our teams individually choose the technology best suited for their needs. Some technologies used are: Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Elm, Clojure, Kotlin, Go, Django, MySQL, ElasticSearch, Cassandra, Kafka, and Kubernetes.
Who are we looking for?
- While it's good if you are familiar with some of the technologies above, we don't expect you to know it all. We expect most people to have solid experience in some tech stack and learn on the job. The stack is just a small part compared to the product itself.
- We have developers with a lot of different backgrounds, regarding both work experience and education. At the end of the day, what really matters is that you have a genuine interest in programming, problem solving, and learning new things.
