Senior Solutions Architect

Description
We are looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to interface with the Business and Technology to propose, design and create robust and productive solutions.

This position has the following key responsibilities:
• Act as a technical visionary and strategist for TriOptima's product lines and the supporting technology platform.
• Take ownership of selected parts of TriOptima's solutions
• Survey market landscape for new technology, direction, vendors, and methods
• Prototype new solutions based on new technologies and/or new ideas
• Identify and translate new system requirements into software design
• Identify and qualify new business development opportunities
• Contribute to the further development and fine-tuning of our software engineering processes
• Participate in and drive technical discussions and design projects with clients and business partners.
• Identify and manage risks associated with the technology used to deploy our services.
• Participate in recruitment of technology personnel.
• Participate in the long and short term planning for the technology organization.

In this position the following key skills are of particular importance.
1. Software Development - The SSA needs to be extensively experienced in the design and implementation of software.
2. Software Development Infrastructure - The SSA shall be thoroughly experienced in the technologies and techniques of designing and implementing software, so that the SSA can be instrumental in the choice of technologies and tools in support of software development.
3. Vision - The SSA shall be qualified to take initiatives to identify available opportunities to improve technology in support the development of the company toward its vision.
4. Security and Continuity - The SSA shall be versed in the risks and opportunities associated with data and IT security and business continuity, and with the current and developing industry-standard methods and technologies for dealing with these risks and opportunities. SSA must be able to incorporate these considerations into the technology and design used to deliver the company's services.
5. Leadership - The SSA must be able to lead development teams in technology discussions, in order to ensure that the company benefits from the total experience of its developers, and to ensure that all developers understand and adopt the technological decisions made.
