1. Ensure that the databases, in the Application Infrastructure team's area of responsibility, are working properly and are kept up to date in terms of versions and patches
2. Ensure we have metrics and supervision on the products/databases
3. Supporting the development teams and services/products with databases, applications and infrastructure requests in general, enabling the services to work in the best way
4. Maintain and develop existing databases and applications
5. Expert skills in database administration (MySQL, Cassandra, PostgreSQL, Vertica)
6. Database performance analysis and optimization
