Our client, a Nordic lower mid-market private equity firm focused on the services niche industrials and consumer goods sectors, is looking to expand their team.
Through their unique value creation approach they have the experience and operational toolkit to support accelerating the development of companies in a sustainable manner and create superior returns for their investors. Our client has an experienced and driven team in place with over 40 years of combined private equity experience in the Nordic region. Importantly, the team share a long history of working together and has a demonstrable track record of generating superior returns for their investors.
This Associate role will be based at our client's main office in Stockholm.
What the job involves

• Involvement in all phases of the investment cycle, among others this will include:
• Sourcing new investment opportunities
• Investment analysis across various investment situations and industries
• Due diligence work and other deal execution tasks
• Detailed financial analysis and modelling
• Supporting and driving value creation initiatives in the portfolio companies

Who we are looking for

• Strong entrepreneurial spirit and investor mindset
• Self starter and passion for developing companies
• Humble personality with a desire to learn and develop
• Prior professional M&A experience from a top tier investment bank or transaction experience from a renowned consulting firm
• Outstanding academic track record
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the drive to take ownership
• Business fluency in English as well as Swedish, Norwegian or Danish are a requirement
• Sector knowledge is advantageous, but not a must-have
