Our client, a leading European investment management fund is currently looking to hire a Chief of Staff to support and work closely with their General Partner. The fund which predominately invests in early-stage companies across the European market is coming off the back of a successful fundraise and has plenty of exciting acquisitions lined up for the coming year. Alongside the investment fund, you will have the opportunity to work with the General Partner on the building out of the family office and social impact foundation, which is also expected to become an instant leader within the space.
As the Chief of Staff, your responsibilities will be incredibly varied from managing calendars and networks to reviewing opportunities for the fund and foundation. You will not only be working closely with one of the top investors within the space but will also gain excellent exposure to high-level social entrepreneurs, company board members and senior stakeholders within the market.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a hard-working and organised individual with a background working within a fast-paced environment such as a investment / asset manager, law firm or management consultancy to really add value and make an instant impact.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Managing networks, calendars, travel and formal reporting
  • Helping prioritise between a huge number of opportunities and competing requests
  • Attending internal and external meetings with social entrepreneurs, company boards and investors
  • Preparing materials for meetings, writing analysis and doing market research
  • Building administrative infrastructure for the funds family office and social foundation
  • Managing the communication and networking opportunities with the media, investors and governing bodies
  • Helping to review new opportunities
YOUR PROFILE:
  • Experience of working within an administrative or operations based role
  • Previous industry experience within a financial or professional services organisation
  • Strong analytical mind with strong communication skills
  • Fully literate in administrative and communication tools
  • Comfortable working within a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Fluent in both verbal and written English
