Job Description
- Handle relationship with the assigned portfolio of Correspondent Banks and Corporate clients.
- Assist HO in business development related to Corporate clients in Singapore.
- Contribute to increase visibility of bank in Singapore, build and maintain contacts with local banking community and other relevant institutions.
- Understand local regulations for HO and existing clients' use.
- Coordination with headquarters at product, client and business support levels.
- To attend bank meetings, corporate presentations, trade fairs, etc.
- Preparing documentation, research reports and assist to corporate client's enquiries.
- Assist in communication relating to HO trade services including: Documentary Credit (L/C), Guarantees, Trade Loans, Clearing.
- Other designated assignments by Chief Representative.
The Successful Applicant
- Business administration, finance, economics or similar degree.
- 3 years documented professional experience acquired in banking with commercial actions with correspondent banks and/or companies. Preferable with experience in trade or financial institutions departments.
- Knowledge of banking industry, regulations, market, products and services.
- Methodical organizational planning and following up of business cases.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to details.
- Good communication and interpersonal relations skills.
- Ability to draft clear and concise reports. Excellent organizational skills and ability to establish priorities.
- Results oriented. Pragmatic profile.
- Ability to work both, independently and as a team.
- Commitment, enthusiasm and self-motivated.
