An international freight and logistics platform is looking for an Algorithm Engineer to join their team.

Your new role
As an Algorithm Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Develop and optimise matching, transaction, and marketing algorithms to drive business growth.
• Enhance user experience and business performance through data-driven algorithmic solutions.
• Own the full machine learning lifecycle, from data processing to deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with product and business teams in China to identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions.
• Apply advanced and emerging AI/ML techniques to solve real-world business challenges and innovate continuously.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 2+ years of experience in machine learning, recommendation systems, search, or advertising.
• Strong expertise in machine learning, with experience in areas such as causal inference, forecasting, reinforcement learning, or optimisation is a plus.
• Chinese proficiency in communicating with stakeholders in China
• Proficient in programming and experienced with mainstream ML and deep learning frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for algorithms and a data-driven mindset.
• Excellent communication, cross-functional collaboration, and execution skills, with the ability to work independently and thrive under pressure.
