Your role
You will be a member of Group HR Technology within the Group Operations & Technology Office (GOTO), which is simplifying and digitizing our HR application landscape along our technology strategy. Together with your colleagues you will be focusing on providing and building Human Resources-related solutions to provide the best candidate & employee experience throughout the whole lifecycle.
We're looking for a technical lead to:
• Provide deep technical guidance based on strong technical acumen and technical currency in a variety of technologies
• design, develop, and improve the ServiceNow experience we provide to our internal clients and employees.
• apply a broad range of software engineering practices, from analyzing user needs and developing new features to automated testing and deployment.
• ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of our solutions by applying our digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements.
• build observability into our solutions to monitor production health, help to resolve incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues.
• continuously up-skill, learn new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate options, and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind.
• Expected to balance and prioritize workload as needed.
Your team
You'll be working in an agile and autonomous team in Group HR Technology in Krakow with the option to work from home for up to two days per week.

Your expertise
You have:
• strong knowledge of ServiceNow with ideally 8 years into scripting and development. Experienced in providing ServiceNow configuration best practices advice (workflow, UI, client scripts, business rules, etc), giving technical advice, reviewing designs, implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• proficiency in at least two of the following technologies / programming languages:, Java, .Net, React, Angular, JavaScript, Selenium, Python
• experience in setting the technical direction for a team of engineers across development, maintenance and architecture initiatives, ensuring adherence to overall IT architecture.
• a proven track of work experience in cloud (MS Azure platform preferred) in an agile SDLC environment, leveraging modern programming languages, DevOps, SQL and noSQL databases, and test-driven development.
You hold a relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent. You are a strong communicator, fluent in English, from making presentations to technical writing.
