This role is a key Qlik development position within the Portfolio Analytics Client Integration function, responsible for supporting the onboarding of complex client reporting mandates and delivering tailored analytics solutions. The successful candidate will design and implement non-standard reporting and customization requests, enabling seamless client transitions while meeting bespoke requirements at scale.
As part of a specialized Integration development team and a core contributor to the Portfolio Analytics IT organization, this role ensures clients maintain uninterrupted access to critical portfolio information throughout onboarding and ongoing change events. The Integration team executes all integration-related development activities, delivering timely, accurate, and scalable client customizations and system enhancements that support operational readiness and keep Citco ahead of evolving industry demands.

Responsibilities

Your Role:

Application Development and Support

• Design, develop, and enhance Qlik Sense analytics applications and dashboards to support complex client and business reporting needs.
• Build, maintain, and optimize Qlik load scripts to ingest data from multiple sources, including relational databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL), REST APIs, flat files, and Excel.
• Perform in-depth data analysis to understand business requirements, identify issues, and translate functional needs into intuitive, visually rich analytical solutions.
• Implement solutions across both the backend data model and frontend visualization layers, including dimensions, measures, and properties using Qlik Set Analysis, variables, and advanced expressions.
• Customize and extend Qlik applications using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Qlik extensions, and corporate theming standards where required.
• Ensure all solutions adhere to architectural best practices, are thoroughly documented, and are designed for scalability, maintainability, and supportability.
• Partner with business and integration teams to support application releases, client onboarding, enhancements, and production issue resolution.
• Provide ongoing application support and troubleshooting, including root-cause analysis and resolution of data, performance, or visualization issues.

Qualifications

About You

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3-5 years of professional experience working across the full SDLC within Agile or iterative delivery environments.
• 3+ years of experience developing dashboards using Qlik or comparable BI / data visualization platforms.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases, including data modeling and performance optimization concepts.
• 3+ years of experience within Financial Services, preferably supporting analytics, reporting, or data-driven solutions.
• Demonstrated experience delivering production-quality BI dashboards, preferably using Qlik (Sense/View), or comparable tools such as Power BI, Tableau, MicroStrategy, OBIE, or Looker.
• Working knowledge of ETL concepts, Qlik data architecture, and the use of QVD layers in scalable analytics solutions.
• Experience with Qlik Sense, QlikView, Qlik NPrinting, Qlik Cloud, and advanced Qlik scripting techniques is a strong plus.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and contribute across development, support, and delivery activities in a fast-paced, complex technology environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a client-focused mindset and the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
