Your new company

Our client is seeking a Senior System Analyst to support and enhance a portfolio of business-critical enterprise applications and technology platforms. This role combines application and platform support, project delivery, vendor management, and stakeholder engagement responsibilities. You will work closely with business users, technology teams, and external partners to ensure systems remain reliable, scalable, and aligned with evolving business requirements.

Your new role

• Act as a key point of contact for enterprise applications and platforms, providing functional and technical support across the application lifecycle.
• Gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and drive solution design discussions.
• Lead system enhancement initiatives, upgrades, and implementation projects to improve operational efficiency and user experience.
• Manage incidents, troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures to improve system stability.
• Ensure the availability, performance, and reliability of critical business systems and technology platforms.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers on project delivery, application support, system enhancements, and service quality management.
• Participate in system design, testing, deployment, user training, documentation, and production rollout activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technology solutions that meet business objectives and operational requirements.
• Support application integration initiatives across cloud-based environments.
• Provide guidance to junior team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of support and delivery processes.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 6+ years of experience in systems analysis, application support, platform support, enterprise application management, or related technology functions.
• Proven experience supporting and integrating enterprise applications within a large-scale environment.
• Strong experience in project delivery, system implementation, and vendor management.
• Hands-on development experience with JavaScript and/or .NET technologies, as well as SQL and relational databases.
• Exposure to cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Alibaba Cloud.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and vendor management skills.
• Experience with AI-powered development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to improve productivity, testing, and code quality would be an advantage.
• Fluent in Cantonese and English, and currently based in Hong Kong with a valid work permit.
• Candidates with less experience may be considered for a Systems Analyst position.
