Job Description

Key Responsibilities

* Process Automation: Design, develop, and implement automated solutions to streamline manual risk reporting and data aggregation processes.

* Development: Utilize Python to build and maintain risk engines, analytical models, and data pipelines.

* Database Management: Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries to ensure accurate data extraction and reporting from financial systems.

* Risk Framework: Apply a strong understanding of risk management lifecycles (identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring) to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

* Collaboration: Partner with risk managers and quantitative analysts to troubleshoot data discrepancies and enhance existing risk models.

Qualifications

* Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Financial Engineering, or a related quantitative field.

* Technical Skills:

* Proficiency in Python and SQL skills

* Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of financial products, risk metrics (e.g., VaR, Greeks, stress testing), and general risk management workflows.

* Experience: Proven experience in automating business processes and delivering technical solutions within a financial or asset management environment.

Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

A successful Risk Developer (Python/ Process Automation) should have:
