We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Project Manager, Change and Implementation.

Principal responsibilities

  • Provide dedicated support to our Global business and functions change programmes, to successfully define, deliver and embed that change, helping HSBC achieve its strategic goals in the relevant global markets.
  • Support and drive the business to achieve benefits realisation and returns on their change investments, ensuring that our significant change programmes are considering all change aspects which will lead to a smooth implementation and transition to BAU.
  • Formulate overall release management approach, maintain overview on the forward planning of the release windows and cycles across the portfolio.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Release Team, and work with Workstream Leads and Project Managers within their assigned Workstream to ensure project releases are managed and deployed into production successfully.
  • Dependency management on local, global, internal and external at a portfolio level across various projects, programs, and workstream or project risks & issues management.
  • Delivery runway management, including portfolio level sequencing and prioritization.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships with senior stakeholders, workstream leads, project managers, key business representatives, etc.
  • Ensure overall release readiness for continued transformation.

  • Proven track record of being a strong Programme or Project Manager with release management experience at Portfolio level for large organisations.
  • Excellent planning and plan management skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders based on a good understanding of their objectives and the services they require to meet those objectives.
  • Strong leader, able to understand the big picture, create a vision and lead activities and teams towards a single goal.
  • Experience in working with diverse teams of different work streams.
  • Strong Stakeholder management and demonstrate successfully the ability to conduct impactful communication, influencing and running project governance Implementation, change management and benefits realization.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate across all levels, both inside the bank and with external third parties.
  • Ability to think laterally and innovatively and find creative solutions, with a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Making considered decisions that protect and enhance the banks values, reputation and business.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Highly experienced in getting the best out of people at a senior level.
  • Project Management or Change Management certification
