DWS is seeking a Senior AWS Data Engineer to join a high-profile data platform transformation program, heavily focused on AWS cloud migration and modernisation of enterprise data capabilities. This role will play a key part in designing, building, and optimising scalable data solutions within a modern AWS cloud environment.

Salary : up to $180K inc super

The role will involve:

• Designing and building scalable data pipelines and ETL solutions within AWS
• Leading and supporting AWS cloud migration and data platform modernisation initiatives
• Developing and optimising data solutions using AWS services (S3, EMR, Redshift, SageMaker) and Snowflake
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data outcomes
• Ensuring data quality, performance, and reliability across large, complex datasets

Essential skills & experience:

• Deep expertise in AWS data services including S3, EMR, Redshift, and SageMaker
• AWS Certifications: Data Engineer (Associate) strongly preferred
• Strong experience designing data solutions in AWS cloud environments
• Strong experience with Snowflake and modern data platforms
• Advanced Python and SQL skills
• Significant experience working with big data and distributed systems
• Proven capability delivering large-scale AWS cloud migration initiatives
• Strong understanding of ETL frameworks and data engineering best practices
