About the role:

We're seeking an Accountant to join our Business Advisory team.

This role is ideal for someone with 1-2 years' experience looking to build their technical capability across financial reporting, tax compliance, and client service, while progressing toward a senior pathway.

You'll work closely with experienced professionals and gain hands-on exposure to a broad client base.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements in line with accounting standards
• Prepare accurate workpapers and supporting documentation
• Review financial statements and management accounts for accuracy
• Prepare income tax returns for individuals, companies, and trusts
• Apply tax compliance procedures and assist with tax planning
• Support regulatory lodgements and ensure deadlines are met

Technical Development

• Apply knowledge of accounting standards, legislation, and industry trends
• Help identify accounting issues and support their resolution

Client & Team Contribution

• Deliver reliable and timely service to clients
• Build understanding of client needs and business environments
• Collaborate with your team and contribute to a positive culture

About you:

You're someone who has:

• 1 + years in a similar role
• Strong Communication Skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

Desirable

• Commenced CA/CPA (or intention to start)
